HOUSE LEAGUE

PHILOSOPHY
Brampton Minor Football Association (BMFA) House League program is designed to help young athletes (boys and girls) to play football in an environment that will develop fundamental football skills, team skills, social skills, physical fitness and most importantly, to have FUN. As a House League, it is our belief that every child must and will play on a regular basis. Maximum participation is the key.

DIVISIONS
BMFA offers three divisions for House League Football and they are as follows:

Myte 6-8 years of age	$150 Registration Fee + ($50 Dinner & Dance + $20 Fundraising + $250 Equipment Deposit + $20 Insurance Fee*)	Mondays and Wednesday. First half practice, second half mini game.		This division is introductory and a less structured full contact tackle program. No weight restrictions will apply. No child can turn 9 before June 1, 2008. Exceptions to this rule will be at the discretion of the League.
Tyke 9-10 years of age	$350 Registration Fee + ($50 Dinner & Dance + $20 Fundraising + $250 Equipment Deposit + $20 Insurance Fee*)	Mondays and Thursdays (Practice days may change depending on field and coach availability)	Tuesdays and Thursdays depending on schedule (Fridays depending on number of teams).	The Junior division is full contact tackle football, where full development of football skills will be introduced. No weight restrictions will apply. No child can turn 11 before June 1, 2008. Exceptions to this rule will be at the discretion of the League.
Atom 11-12 years of age	$350 Registration Fee + ($50 Dinner & Dance + $20 Fundraising + $250 Equipment Deposit + $20 Insurance Fee*)	Mondays and Thursdays (Practice days may change depending on field and coach availability)	Wednesdays	The Intermediate division is full contact tackle football, where full development of football skills will be introduced. No weight restrictions will apply. No child can turn 13 before June 1, 2008. Exceptions to this rule will be at the discretion of the League.

Please Note:
BMFA does not permit individuals to play down (they must play in their age group).
Exceptions to this rule will be at the discretion of BMFA.

* Insurance Fee - $20.00 fee is payable to Ontario Tackle Football Com (OTFC). Covers membership in OTFC and the cost of insurance. Mandatory part of playing in any Football league in Ontario. All players are required to pay this fee at the time of registration and fill out a form that gets sent to OTFC along with the payment. This must be done prior to the player participating in any BMFA activities.

Equipment Deposit will be returned when the football equipment is returned. All equipment to participate in Full Contact Football is supplied except cleats (shoes).

NO HEAD GEAR (eg. Bandanas, Scarves, Wraps, etc.) WILL BE PERMITTED TO BE WORN UNDER HELMETS except in the fall when cold weather gear that has been approved for warmth will be permitted. Tinted, smoked and mirrored visors will NOT be permited.

Refunds will be subject to a $100.00 administration charge. NO Refunds will be issued after April 1, 2008.
