FUNDRAISING & EVENTS

May 7, 2008

Dear BMFA Parents

First I would like to welcome back past players and all the new players. As the season starts to get underway we do everything possible to make it a successful and enjoyable year for all the children.

A big part of that success is with the help of fundraising and the hard work that the volunteers put forth to make it possible. This season we will be running two fundraisers.

We will be working with Maple Lodge Farms for the first fundraiser. We will be running this fundraiser from May 5th -May 21.Orders must be submitted no later than May 23.All cheques are to made payable to BMFA. It is a very simple program. If 500 units are sold in total Maple Lodge farms will donate a National Sports $50.00 gift card to the highest seller. In the event of a tie there will be a draw As an added incentive any player who submits an order with 10 or more units their name will be entered in to a draw for a National Sports $25.00 gift card. Delivery Date is Tuesday June 24, 2008 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. Pick up location is Chinguacousy High School.

Our second fundraiser will be World's Finest Chocolates. This program will run two weeks approximately at the end of May -beginning of June. Each Player will be given a case of chocolate covered almonds to sell. There are 25 units per case and the cost is $2.00 each. For every case that a child sells their name will be entered into a draw for Season Passes for A FAMILY OF FOUR to Wild water kingdom. The player who sells the most cases will receive a 2 foot giant bubble gum dispenser. In the event of a tie there will be a draw.

On behalf of BMFA thank you in advance and have a fun season. Feel free to contact me at pattiopdam@rogers.com BMFA Fundraiser in the subject line.
