FALL LEAGUE

PHILOSOPHY
Brampton Minor Football Association (BMFA) Fall Football program is designed to help young athletes (boys and girls) to play football in an environment that will develop fundamental football skills, team skills, social skills, physical fitness and most importantly, to have FUN. Maximum participation is the key.

DIVISIONS
BMFA offers four divisions for Fall Football and they are as follows:

Myte 6-8 years of age	$300 (+$20 insurance fee, $20 fundraising fee, + 50 dinner/dance and $250 equipment deposit)	Monday Wednesday Saturday	TBD	The Myte division is full contact tackle football, where full development of football skills will be introduced. No weight restrictions will apply. Players born in 2000 and later. Age as of January 1st of the calendar year. Exceptions to this rule will be at the discretion of the League.
Tyke 9-10 years of age	$350 (+$20 insurance fee, $20 fundraising fee, + 50 dinner/dance and $250 equipment deposit)	Tuesday Thursday Saturday		The Junior division is full contact tackle football, where full development of football skills will be introduced. No weight restrictions will apply. Players born in 1998 and 1999. Age as of January 1st of the calendar year. Exceptions to this rule will be at the discretion of the League.
Atom 11-12 years of age	$350 (+$20 insurance fee, $20 fundraising fee, + 50 dinner/dance and $250 equipment deposit)	Tuesday Thursday Saturday		The Intermediate division is full contact tackle football, where full development of football skills will be introduced. No weight restrictions will apply. Players born in 1996 and 1997. Age as of January 1st of the calendar year. Exceptions to this rule will be at the discretion of the League.
PeeWee 13-14 years of age	$400 (+$30 insurance fee, $20 fundraising fee, + 50 dinner/dance and $250 equipment deposit)	Tuesday Thursday Saturday		The Intermediate division is full contact tackle football, where full development of football skills will be introduced. No weight restrictions will apply. Players born in 1994 and 1995. Age as of January 1st of the calendar year.Exceptions to this rule will be at the discretion of the League.

Please Note:
BMFA does not permit individuals to play down (they must play in their age group).
Exceptions to this rule will be at the discretion of BMFA.

* Insurance Fee - $20.00 fee is payable to Ontario Tackle Football Com (OTFC). Covers membership in OTFC and the cost of insurance. Mandatory part of playing in any Football league in Ontario. All players are required to pay this fee at the time of registration and fill out a form that gets sent to OTFC along with the payment. This must be done prior to the player participating in any BMFA activities.

Equipment Deposit will be returned when the football equipment is returned. All equipment to participate in Full Contact Football is supplied except cleats (shoes).

NO HEAD GEAR (eg. Bandanas, Scarves, Wraps, etc.) WILL BE PERMITTED TO BE WORN UNDER HELMETS except in the fall when cold weather gear that has been approved for warmth will be permitted. Tinted, smoked and mirrored visors will NOT be permited.

Refunds will be subject to a $100.00 administration charge. NO Refunds will be issued after April 1, 2008.
